Circle!

A couple of days ago, I was impressed by my three-year-old grandson. I think he's developing normally, but I have no experience raising boys. I tend to compare him to my daughter's childhood. Compared to her, his development seems to be slower. When my daughter was three, she could do more than Shion (my grandson's name) can do now.

When he turned three, all of a sudden, he started speaking a lot. Now, he sometimes repeats things adults say and makes us laugh. Young children's brains are like sponges. They absorb everything so quickly, and Shion is no exception.

A couple months ago, he wasn't interested in drawing but now he draws very well, even though I have no idea what he drew.

The most impressive thing was he drew circles! While saying, "A circle!", he drew one. Then, he added a larger one. I was so impressed by the way he moved his hand and pressed the red crayon when he drew circles. I'm looking forward to seeing him draw triangles, squares, and more shapes.
