Yesterday morning, I was able to wake up clearly at 9:30 a.m.
I seem to need to sleep for nine hours to recover. In fact, I was so sleepy this morning, since I slept only seven hours last night.
What a bad fuel-efficiency body!
Looking back, it was amazing that I could take care of my son without enough sleep when my son was a newborn. I will never be able to do it again.
On the other hand, I feel a little pain in my lower back after a long sleep. Also, I sometimes have pain in my right knee and left ankle.
In the Meiji period, the life expectancy of Japanese people was in the early forties.
Because my age is around forty now, I certainly feel the limit of my body.
However, I have to be alive for longer than forty years.
I should stop watching my smartphone before going to bed to sleep well, and exercise more to lose weight.
PS
I cannot spend much time on writing posts and reading comments every weekend, so I apologize that my responses tend to be late.
New expression for me
-the life expectancy of Japanese people
-the early forties
Whatever you do, don’t put pressure on yourself to write or respond to comments. Otherwise, writing becomes a chore. You’re doing very well. Enjoy your son and get some rest.
Thank you for your kind words. Actually, I want to ask more about the details of your and the others' corrections, and read even posts in languages other than English and Japanese. However, I think what you wrote is right. Writing posts is my favorite thing, so I'll keep doing it at least.
It’s a good idea for you to ask questions about the corrections. That’s a great way to learn and for me to explain why I’ve suggested a correction instead of assuming a writer understands why.
