It was 38℃ (100.4°F) today, but my husband and I went hiking together. I walk eight kilometers (five miles) every day, and I love walking. We went to Mino to see a great waterfall called Minoh no Taki. Since we moved to Osaka, we'd heard about the place, but we'd never been there before. It was our first time, so I was excited to see it in person.
We walked along a winding, uphill and downhill trail through a forest. We sweated a lot, but it was so much fun.
The sky looked a perfect blue and the forest looked a perfect green. The contrast was amazing.
As kept walking, we saw a waterfall in the distance.
It was worth to see even though it was extremely hot and humid. The view was just breathtaking. I'd never seen such a dynamic waterfall before.
When we stood near the waterfall, we wet from the splash. It made us feel a bit cool down and refreshed, so we just stood there to listen to the water falling sound. It was a wonderful experience.
We saw lots of Japanese maple trees everywhere, so we've already decided to go back there in the fall. The view will be spectacular then.

The view is so beautiful.
One correction: Capitalize "minoo no taki" to "Minoo no Taki." Other possible spellings: Minou no Taki or Minoh no Taki.
