I'd like to introduce some new comers in my garden.
Today I took my regular painting class. After class, one of my classmates, who is my painting friend and a rose lover, gave me two rose cuttings.
This summer has been hotter and more humid than usual, so I need to take extra care of them. It's very tough for such tiny cuttings to service in this heat. Tomorrow, I'll plan to replant them in larger pots. They'll be able to grow roots longer and absorb more water.
The next rose bush was one I ordered last winter, and I received it this spring. I have already around forty varieties, so I shouldn't buy any more. I know it very well, but when I saw this one in a catalog, I couldn't resist.
I'm excited to grow three new varieties. I'm already looking forward to seeing three of them bloom next spring.
