Have you ever heard of the French band Daft Punk before? They're a unique electric music duo wearing a helmet and have never showed their faces in public. When you see them, you'll probably think they look futuristic.
Since they were children, they have been huge fans of Leiji Matsumoto, who was the legendary Japanese manga artist. He was famous for some Japanese anime such as Space Battleship Yamato, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, and Galaxy Express 999. When Daft Punk visited Japan in July in 2000, they met Leiji Matsumoto and asked him to create their music videos for their album.
The collaboration was a huge success and ended up becoming a remarkable combination of music and animation. The Daft Punk music blends with Leiji Matsumoto's anime beautifully and has created one and the only atmosphere. If you're curious, click here. I highly recommend watching the videos while listening to the music. They'll take you to their one-of-a-kind world. Enjoy!

I know the Galaxy Express 999. It's classic. In video, aliens , their playing and dancing is so touching. I wanna listen one more time.
I really love this film. When they were younger my kids always loved when I put on the "blue alien" video.
@YuMiFan I love the Galaxy Express 999 as well. I love all his anime and used to watch them when I was a kid. I'm glad you enjoy the videos.
@Ersatzjello Thank you as always reading and commenting. That sounds very cute! They must love the video as well.
