Today seemed like an ordinary day. I went to school as usual.

However, one of my classmates is going back to China. It makes me feel lonely because he has always looked after me.

We promised to show each other around our countries someday. Even though I'm not sure we'll be able to keep that promise, I believe we'll stay good friends.

By the way, I used to think my English hadn't improved much, but today I realized I could understand more of my teacher's stories than before.

I'll keep trying.

I wonder what today will look like to me in the future.
