I’m confused a bit which word to use. Those English verbs that I know have extra (and opposite to each other) meanings. These days we hear filthy language everywhere. It’s a kind of fashion. I heard a linguist once who said that love people to obscene language is just a symptom.. I heard a linguist once who said that people's love to obscene language is just a symptom. It’s not about good and bad itself, it’s just a signal of unknown something rolling there in the deep. I asked a few well educated people on a site like this about the topic. They were talking about free (self)expression and an honest person who does and a hypocrite who doesn’t. My parents didn’t curse (at least I didn’t hear). When I was in particular age I liked to “express myself” (not in presence of adult people of course). I also liked to spoil pictures in school books – Genghis Khan looks more interesting in sunglasses and Napoleon, too. One night I was smoking on the balcony. I was in age when I didn’t spoil books already and cold smoke open. I lived on the second (the first in your count) floor. There was a conflict somewhere on the ground. A guy said something and another guy was insulted because that was in presence of his mother. I describe the scene as a concept. When people (they usually look like students) curse in subway or in a bus, I feel like I watch a few men kiсking a body on the ground. Well, not exactly like that (that’s just a concept). It seems I’m a hypocrite. However, if all that is just a symptom of something… You know, I heard that some aborigines that were practice cannibalism did that not to get their enemies’ power (and of course not just to eat). They lived in very dangerous world and did that to terrify they wicked gods. On more concept just for fun – youngsters do everything in their own way. Maybe one day a generation will grow and they will do things against all that old farts with loose tatoo?
@Uly (@CocoPop) Thank you, Uly! Фраза из фильма "Кин дза дза": "...Этот пацак всё время думает на языках, продолжения которых не знает..." = ambitious but run into difficulty (это я про себя)
😂
