In the next morning, Charlotte stayed in front of the mirror longer than usual. For some reason strangely, the man in the suit kept haunting her, and she couldn't come up with any clear reason for that. The man was, of course, charismatic; she had to admit that. But she didn't usually keep thinking about customers for a long time; customers came and went. That man was somehow different, and special, Charlotte thought. Would the man come today? This man had already come for two days in a row. Does the man live nearby? Or was he just on a visit in the city, and now has he already been at the airport on the way to somewhere far away he actually belongs to? The thought struck Charlotte as sad. Would the man probably drop by for a salad again today? Charlotte found herself hoping for that, though it didn't actually make any sense. What did it matter to her? For some reason, it seemed to matter to her, a lot. Charlotte put on a little more makeup than usual, though her style was usually natural.
