English
I’ve just finished reading “Dream Count” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and I enjoyed it so much. Four women with different personalities, passions and struggles, their friendship unites them. This was the second book I read by Chimamanda after “The Thing Around Your Neck”, the Arabic translation.
The third book is going to be “Half Of A Yellow Sun”, in English.
Those are some quotes I liked:
Every morning, I was hesitant to rise, because to get out of bed was to approach again the possibility of sorrow.
Where have all the years gone, and have I made the most of my life? But what is the final measure for making the most of life, and how would I know if I have?
Where does love go when we stop loving?
If it’s already destined, can we change what is written for us?
What was the last book you finished? Did you enjoy it? Is there a quote you'd like to share with me?
