M. was the first volunteer I hosted in almost a two-year hiatus. I enjoyed her company and how thoughtful she was. She helped me practice pronunciation, cooked for us, played with my nephew and invited us (me, my niece and nephew) to eat out on her last day. We also had some deep conversations that fostered our connection to each other and to ourselves. I wish she could stay longer than a week. Thank you and take care, M!
