I was looking for a space where I could do just that: a journaling activity when the days allow it. Just to start writing again, as I used to when I was younger. A way to preserve some memories before lost them. Something simple, practical, but pretty, a place where I could also attach some pictures from the day—a practice I used to judge hardly, but now I find myself doing it. Something that feels like the past.
The first surprise was the typewriter sound, because yes, I used to have an orange typewriter to do homework. But in truth, I mostly used it for journaling—like the silly, clueless, big-headed I used to be. Many blank sheets of paper, many ink rolls, many stories, and letters to my loved ones.
And yes, of course, I’m also looking to improve my English. I can manage technical English when it comes to science topics, but I’m not as confident in everyday situations—like at a restaurant, in a mall, or with random people. I can speak easily, but that doesn’t mean I’ll do it correctly or understand everything. Sometimes I think that English speakers often just guess what the other person is saying, without the precision that Spanish requires. So notification of the kind corrections were just a great plus. Now let´s looking for a job so I can pay for a level in where the pics can be attached.
Not bad!
