Lately, my cat has been sick. He often has vomited and has lost some weight. He usually eats a lot but he's lost his appetite. I've been so worried about him that I gave him some antibiotics. After that, he's gotten better and has eaten food again. Even so, he's 12 years old, so today I took him to the vet.

I explained about his symptoms to the vet, and she ran his blood test. She told me that there were so many possibilities for him because of his age, which made me feel very anxious. My cat, Jiji, is the first cat I've ever had in my life. Before him, I used to be a big dog person, but he totally changed my mind. Now, I'm a true cat lover.

His blood test showed he has a problem with his pancreases. His vet explained that many elderly cats have a problem with it. He also has a kidney problem. She took an echo too, and he might have a trable with his Intestines. She also told me that cats are really good at hiding their symptoms, so I shouldn't blame myself. Even so, I was shocked to realize how many signs I'd missed and I felt very sorry for him.

To treat his pancreases, I have to take him to his clinic every day in five days. He’s going to take IV drops at 4 p.m. After that, I have to go to my grandson's nursery school to pick him up. That means I can't keep my usual painting time, so I'm thinking that I should wake up at least three hours earlier in five days to keep the time. I think I can do it!
