An interesting topic that should be more discussed is the power of different media. Nowadays we express ourselves through various art forms, from poems to paintings, from songs to sculptures, to represent a feeling, a mood, a moral, a thought and much more. Among them the two most popular types of expression are words and music.

Starting with the former, in history writing has been initially a medium in political and economical issues. Then, with the appearances of the first written poems, literature spread in every culture, and it became the main medium a poet could use for expressing their own feellings and love, but also problems of their time. In modern society its role has not changed, and many use paper (or computer) to write down their thoughts. 

On the other hand, music has the power to connect millions of hearts in the world. Singers and bands give their soul in their songs, expressing their feelings, their pain and their anger in a way that words cannot. Although songs are technically written, the musical background and the tone the singers use amplify their meaning and influence the mood of the listeners. In addition, songs can also denonce a problem or a state, spreading the message all over the world. 

In conclusion, all things considered, music has a more powerful impact on people, allowing them to better understand the world in which they live.
