In the first part, I gave you an overview about my arrival at a spiritual retreat and my reason for going. Now, I'm going to tell you about my encounter with what I believe to be a spiritual, non-human entity.
After all of us were gathered and seated on mattresses, the instructor explained how the ceremony was going to take place. They would start singing and play music, while would be offered the first dose of Ayahuasca, there would be three doses in total given at specific intervals and no one was obliged to consecrate all three doses. Actually, I stopped on my second one.
Ayahuasca is brown bitter tea made from two kinds of Amazonian roots. it tastes like cold coffee with no sugar, but it tastes worse. They recommend that at least one week before taking it, you don't eat any meat and abstain from sexual relations. After a few minutes, I consecrated my first dose. I started tearing up like crazy. I wasn't crying and I wasn't sad — far from that, my eyes watered and the tears started rolling down.
After a half hour I took my second dose, then I lay down and closed my eyes. Suddenly I started "seeing" a blueish room. however it wasn't solid; it was like be at the bottom of a pool made of geometric patterns: squares, triangles and rectangles. When I heard a male voice saying "Don't be afraid I'm elementary, I'm a disembodied entity. Although I have no body, It gives me pleasure to experience bodily sensations. If you allow me, I'd like to possess your body. May?
I gave it permission to possess my body. However, the rest of the story will be in my next post. Sorry, guys!. This experience lasted almost seven hours. I'll try to summarize as much as I can in maximum five or six posts. Thank you for reading! and if you can, please, point out my mistakes.
Thanks @CocoPop for your feedback :-)
This post gave me the chills. As a Christian, it's clear to me that these disembodied entities are nothing but demons, and given them permission to possess you can give them license to do unthinkable harm to you spiritually and physically. But nothing is impossible for our merciful and powerful Savior, Jesus Christ, and know that you can call on Him at any time and he's exponentially more powerful than any of these entities! I hope this story has a happy ending. I can't wait to read the next installment.
First at all, thanks to point out my mistakes. I really appreciated that, and for you concern as well. I totally understand your point of view. I believe you as a Christian has a point of view of this kind of experience based in the environment you live. If you were a indigenous shaman/ Buddhist/ Atheist surely you would have another thought or approach. I believe that Christian interpretation is just one of many interpretations we have about of the reality, a shot taken of that. Recently I read a book called Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley. When in the 50’s took mescalin and I marked an interesting part where he says: “The urge to transcend self-conscious selfhood is, as I have said, a principal appetite of the soul”. He understands our brains not as producer of content. But, as a filter of reality. But I agree is better off to be cautious and not open some doors. Trust me, I have being cautious and alert.
By this weekend I'll write more. Today I just corrected and took notes of my mistakes. maybe tomorrow I'll have a look at part 3. I saw you commented there as well. Thanks :-)
Now that you've implemented the corrections, I gave it a final reading and found a few more errors. Great job!
