Alina antoi Esan johtaa ja tyytyi itse tarkkailemaan ja kirjoittamaan asioita muistiin. He kävelivät taloa kohti. Antero ja Esa menivät edellä jutellen vanhan talon purkamisesta ja uuden rakentamisesta. Alina ja Helena kävelivät vaitonaisina perässä, molemmat omissa ajatuksissaan. Sisällä talossa Helena Väkerö vähän rentoutui ja otti haltuunsa emännän roolin. Talon isäntä yritti ohjata heidät olohuonetta kohti, mutta hänen vaimonsa mielestä keittiö olisi parempi vaihtoehto. Hän selitti, että makuuhuoneita lukuun ottamatta se oli talon ainoa loppuun kalustettu tila ja sen vuoksi paljon kodikkaampi.

Alina let Esa lead the way and was content to watch and write down things. They walked to the house. Antero and Esa went ahead, talking about the demolition of the old house and the building of the new one. Alina and Helena walked behind in silence, both in their own thoughts. Inside the house, Helena Väkerö relaxed a bit and took over the role of the hostess. The host of the house tried to lead them to the living room, but his wife thought the kitchen would be a better option. She explained that except for the bedrooms, it was the only fully furnished space and, because of that, much cosier.
