Menimme Markon kanssa taas kurkistamaan ulos ikkunasta. Leppäkerttuja oli nyt selvästi vielä äskeistä enemmän. Näimme miten joku mies lakaisi harjalla autonsa katolta leppäkerttuja niin kuin talvella lakaistaan lunta. Viereisenkin auton katto kuhisi punaisena. Mies huitaisi harjallaan sitäkin ja pudisteli sitten päätään hämmästyneen näköisenä. Ajattelin, että leppäkerttujen päälle joutuisi väkisinkin astumaan. Minusta ei ole hauska astua minkään eläimen päälle, ja leppäkertut ovat kilttejä otuksia.

Marko and I went to peek out of the window again. Now, there were obviously even more ladybugs than before. We saw a man sweeping with a broom the ladybugs off the roof of his car as if snow was being swept away in winter. The roof of the car next to his was infested in red, too. The man also swept it with his broom and then shook his head, looking surprised. I thought that he couldn't help but step onto the ladybugs. In my opinion, it isn't fun to step onto any animal, and ladybugs are good creatures.
