I know I need to let my all roses rest during the winter, so I have to cut some branches and take off all leaves. Even so, I can't help wanting to enjoy seeing a few of them still in bloom. Once the flowers end, I'll take care of them. I have to prepare for the spring. I want them to rest enough to get energy, grow more beautiful flowers, and attract bees back to my garden. I truly appreciate these roses still in bloom.

My sasanqua camellia has started blooming, and I'm thrilled.

One of my Christmas Roses has been developing lots of buds, which are getting larger day by day. I can't wait seeing them open!

Last year, after my narcissus finished blooming, I gave them some fertilizer. This helped them grow stronger and larger, so this year they are growing more buds. I'm glad I did a right thing for them.

My other narcissus also develop some buds. They're also growing bigger, stronger and healthier.

Do you remember last year's tragedy? The people from the Silver Human Resource Center cut my mimosa tree back too short, even though it had grown lots of buds. I wrote about it here. I now thank what they did. Look at this gorgeous mimosa tree! I'm so proud of it now. It has grown even better than last year. They've been growing tons of buds too. I missed seeing my garden completely filled with tiny, cute yellow flowers last year, but I’m definitely going to see the scene this year! Woohoo!!

Spring is still three months away, but I can hardly wait!
