After the initial flood of talks, they're sitting without saying anything for a long time. Timothy wonders why that doesn't feel awkward. But then it comes to his mind that the girl's sense of smell must be more sensitive than normal just because of the blindness and that the girl's nostrils are twitching like a dog which has come here to sniff, and the nostrils smell precisely all embarrassing emissions from Timothy's body, the bed and his belongings.
