Syön puuron suoraan kattilasta välttyäkseni isommalta tiskiltä. Kattilan jätän tiskialtaaseen likoamaan. Menen tuohon yhdistettyyn työ– ja makuuhuoneeseen, selaan kirjoituspöydän ääressä papereita. Keskeneräisiä töitä on minulla paljon, aivan liian paljon. En tiedä mistä pääsisin alkuun ja pakenen keittiöön, juon toisen mukillisen kahvia. Olo tuntuu vielä hyvin uniselta, kuin en olisi kunnolla hereillä. Tuo saattaa johtua illalla nielemistäni unipillereistä.

I eat the porridge straight from the pot to avoid more washing-up. I leave the pot in the kitchen sink to soak. I go to the study and bedroom combined and riffle through the documents at the desk. I have a lot of unfinished work, way too much. I don't know where I would start from, flee to the kitchen and drink another mug of coffee. I still feel very sleepy as if I'm not properly awake. That might be because of the sleeping pills that I took in the evening.
