A couple of months ago, I posted an entry about my hand-knitted teddy bear. If you're curious about it, click here. Since then, I've been knitting an overall for it.

One day, when I saw it, its leg got a hole! I was shocked because it took more than over a year for me to finish. I had seen my cat was playing with it before, but I thought he is 12 years old, so he wouldn't do anything bad. However, I was wrong. Cats are cats. No matter how old they are, they are always mischievous.

Jiji (my cat) had eaten a part of my teddy bear's leg. I'd never done darning before, and I tried it for the first time. I learned how to repair from my knitting teacher and filled with lots of blanket stitches. It was amazingly simple and easy.

The teddy bear belongs to my grandson, and I've planed giving it when I finish knitting its overall. He's been growing so fast, and his interests has changed. Right now, he loves playing with toys from Toy Story. I wonder if he's still curious about my hand-knitted teddy bear. I definitely need to push myself finishing the project as soon as possible.
