1. En cuanto – En cuanto que voy a la trabaja el paquete vendrá. (As soon as I leave for work the package will arrive.)

2. Solicitud de ingreso – La solicitud de ingreso por la universidad está vence mañana. (The university admission application is due tomorrow.)

3. Aclarar – Ella aclaró su punto por hacerle una pregunta. (She clarified his point by asking a question.)

4. Rellenar – Ojalá rellene la solicitud de ayuda a pesar de su orgullo. (Hopefully she will fill out the aid application despite her pride.)

5. Detener – "Detengan!" La mamá les dijo a sus hijos. ("Stop!" The mother said to her children.)

6. Fingir – Los niños fingen que vivir en un palacio. (The children pretend that they live in a palace.)

7. En cambio – En cambio de casarla, huyó con su hermana. (Instead of marrying her, he ran away with her sister.)

8. Taller – Hoy hay un taller de oratoria se celebra en la colegio. (Today there is a public speaking workshop being held at the college.)

9. Ancho – Tus hombros son muy anchos. (Your shoulders are very wide.)

13. Rechazar – Ella rechazó el hombre que era malo con ella. (She rejected the man who was mean to her.)

14. Extraer – La dentista extraerá su diente malo. (The dentist will extract your bad tooth.)
