Don't give up on chasing your dreams just because of your age if you have them. Today, I want to share a very motivational story with you.

A 94 year-old Japanese woman debuted as a singer last year. She was born in Shikoku and lost her parents when she was young. She was raised by her uncle. She had loved singing since she was a little girl, but she worked at an insurance company for 44 years after graduating from school. Later, she met a guy at a dance hall and married him.

At the age of 55, she lost her hearing ability in her right ear due to stress. After loosing her husband, she tended to spend most of her time at home.

When she was 88 years old, she started learning ballroom dance again. She started singing at a Karaoke bar as well. One day, she met a singer-songwriter at the bar. This meeting changed her life dramatically. The singer-songwriter loved her amazing voice and encouraged her to become a singer. He produced her, and she released her first CD at the age of 93. Since then, she's been singing.

I believe if we really want to make our dreams come true, something we can't see with our eyes actually works for us. In her case it was meeting the producer. He didn't live in Shikoku and he was just visiting for a concert. He accidentally heard her sing. If he hadn't visited the bar, she might never have become a singer. This story reminds me of my favorite quote, "Where there is a will, there is a way."

I believe that it's possible to make our dreams come true no matter how old we are. The key is very simple, "don't give up on dreams".

If you are curious about her voice, you can listen to it here, and the news source is here.
