Expo 2025 Osaka will end on October 13th, and there is less than a month left. So, my husband and I decided to visit once a week. Last week, we tried to see the pavilions that have received the best reviewed from visitors.
There were so many people at the gate.
When we looked up the sky, we saw double rainbows, which made us feel something good might happen.
Since we've heard many stories from our friends who have visited the Expo, we took portable chairs to sit on while waiting in long lines.
Although we tried to see the Italy Pavilion ( which has been said it would be the best so far), we couldn't get in because of the extremely long line. Instead, we decided to see the U.K. Pavilion. There was also a long line to wait, and we ended up waiting for two hours. Our portable chairs were fine, but we saw better ones in the line. While waiting, we talked about what kinds of exhibits we would see.
The pavilion featured Aston Martin, which is famous from 007 (the James Bond films) and AstraZeneca, which developed vaccine for COVID during the pandemic. The U.K. Pavilion was different from the others and it made us think we were watching their commercials. Of course, each pavilion should have sponsors to support them, but usually it's not so obvious who they are. After this experience, we started paying attention to who the sponsors might be whenever we visit a pavilion.
I spotted a Liberty bicycle. Liberty fabric is very popular in Japan, but it was my first time seeing its bicycle.
After leaving the pavilion, we enjoyed seeing a water show. I tried to take more pictures, but unfortunately most of them turned out blurry. So instead, I've shared a video from YouTube. You can enjoy watching the show here.

How neat! I hope the weather is better for viewing it and I hope that next time you get to see the Italy pavillion.
Thank you! I'll write about the Italy Pavilion sometime soon!!
