Kerstin kiisti loppuun asti olleensa vastuussa joutumisestani vanhempiensa taloon.
Kerstin denied till the end that she was responsible for me getting into her parents' house. She just claimed that she had known I would call. I thought I no longer had any reason to be at Kerstin's home, so I thanked her parents for the coffee and the place to sleep, packed my bag and left. I walked slowly to the port. The morning ship had already gone, and I thought I would spend the day reading at the terminal. When I thought about the idle hours ahead, my steps began to slow down.
