While chatting with my friend from Texas this morning, he shared a very interesting YouTube video about a private school in Texas.
The school is very unique. Students study for only two hours a day, and they don't take classes with their classmates. Instead, they study individually with AI. This means they don't need to follow other students' learning speed. In a typical classroom, some students are fast learners, while others are slow. Fast learners often need to wait until slow learners understand. Learning individually can solve this problem. All students can learn at their own speed.
After two hours, students can freely choose subjects based on their curiosity. Some enjoy playing instruments, others focus on painting, some love swimming, and a few are curious about creating robots. Each student can decide what truly interests them and improve their skills in those areas.
While watching the video clip, I thought this school was awesome! All students looked like they were really enjoying their school lives. I'm sure they can't wait to go to school every day to learn new things because they go to school to learn what they love. I think schools should be like this. This kind of education system will help students become experts in the fields they're passionate about. Life is short, so it's wonderful that students don't waste time to find what they really want to do. While learning, they can naturally discover what they want to become in the future.
If you are curious about the school, you can watch the video clip here.

I'm not a fan of AI at all!!! I'd prefer to let children engage with their classmates through games and sports. They should also spend more time in nature, but not with AI and whatnot.
Here's an article that many poeple should read; https://thisiskirra.substack.com/p/the-loneliness-machines?r=5j7cos&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&triedRedirect=true
Hi, ZZ. Thank you for reading and commenting. Thank you for sharing your opinion and the article. I definitely read it!
Thank you for sharing the article. I read it, and I've heard about the things about children since the Pandemic. Kids have been slightly getting more autistic.
The school in Texas doesn't look like that, but I concern about your point too.
