Chinese is my mother tongue, and I'm studying Spanish and English.
I've posted a few short pieces in English and Spanish here and received lots of help—something for which I’m truly grateful.
Just now I also tried using my native language to help other learners of Chinese by correcting their essays. I believe that's part of our community spirit.
Helping others polish their writing has given me fresh insights into language learning. When writing in a foreign language, we should focus on basic words and sentence patterns instead of chasing fancier vocabulary. We have a saying in Chinese: "keep your feet on the ground—no one gets fat in a single bite."
I'm happy to help learners of Chinese at any level—beginner, intermediate, or even advanced.
I'm not only willing to suggest edits to your work; I'd also love to help you express exactly what you want to say.
I’m also glad to talk about how we feel, fun ways to learn languages, or even the mistakes we make.
I’ve tried to write the Chinese version as simply as possible—hope it helps you. :)
-- The original version is in Chinese. This English version is here so it can reach more readers. :D
