In the fridge, there was a small amount of tahini left that I wanted to use before it expired. I started to think of what recipe I can use it for.
I didn't have enough vegetables or ingredients, so baba ghanouj or tahini salad were excluded.
I checked the fridge and found some majdool dates. I soaked three pieces of dates in some boiling water. Then, I added them along with the tahini to the blender. While blending, I found a ripe banana so I added it.
I don't like the taste of walnuts. Knowing it's nutritious and has omega-3, which I don't get regularly, I prefer mixing it with other ingredients. And that was exactly what I did, putting some walnuts into my made-up mixture.
When it was done, I remembered that I had also cocoa. Why not add a spoon?
Without hesitation, I did. The mixture was creamy, sweet and, most importantly, filling.
I'm happy that I'm not afraid of trying my hand at making up new recipes. And I'm happier that the results are encouraging.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. It was so delicious that I ate it while I was still standing.
