Last week, my husband and I went to the Osaka Expo again, which was our fourth time. This time, we started with Nepal Pavilion, which was the last one to open. I'm glad it finally did. Photography was only allowed on the first floor, so I've shared a part of the exhibition. There were lots of golden Buddha statues, tapestries about Buddhism and more.
The next pavilion was Germany, where we had to wait in a long line. At the entrance, staff handed us a small mascot device that played explanations about the exhibits.
When we left the pavilion, we spotted a person in a mascot costume. It was cute, but I felt sorry for the person of its inside. It must be very hot.
The Third pavilion was Korea.
Before entering the pavilion, we were asked a question in a booth in the picture below, "what is the most important in your life?". It was too abstract to answer. My husband and I replied it was happiness. I'm curious what you will response.
When we entered, we listened to pop music which was generated based on our answers. It was very cool. We listened to lots of different answers, such as money, dreams, families, jobs, pets, partners, love, health, education, faith and more. Although we aren't fans of K-pops, we really enjoyed it while watching a light show.
We also got to try a new recycling energy exhibit.
When we blew into a microphone-shaped device, it caught our breath, and it turned it into floating bobbles.
You can see the bubbles in the pictures below. The bubbles looked slimy and when I touched it, it was very sticky. Yuck!
We had Korean food as dinner. All dishes were delicious even though they were typical Expo prices.
The picture below shows Korean style cold noodles. The restaurant even provided authentic Korean spoons and chopsticks.
We ended the day by watching a drown show. Since it was my first time seeing one in person, I was very excited.
You can see a non-cut version of the drown show here.
