Olen tietoisesti pyrkinyt ja jatkuvasti pyrin tilaan, jossa en anna muiden ihmisten toiminnan järkyttää olemustani, hallitsen reaktioitani, olen vastuussa niistä. Pysyn itseni keskiössä. Teen kaikkeni, että en enää ikinä ripustautuisi uhrin identiteettiin, en olisi vihainen tai katkera menneisyydelle. En tietenkään ole onnistunut siinä vielä, miksi muuten kirjoittaisin tätä, miksi minulla olisi tarve kirjoittaa tätä, ylipäätään kai kirjoittaa.

I've consciously strived and am continuously striving for the state where I don't let other people's actions shake my essence, I control my reactions, I'm responsible for them. I remain at the center of myself. I do all I can so that I wouldn't hang on to the identity of a victim ever again, I wouldn't be angry or resentful at the past. Of course, I haven't succeeded yet, otherwise why I would write this, why I would need to write this, probably write, in general.
