I like writing about Japan and have been introducing many sightseeing spots, but I realized that I've never written about downtown Osaka. So, today, I'd love to share some pictures from the area.
Osaka is the second largest city in Japan, so once you visit the downtown area, you'll see full of tall buildings. Every once a month, I visit there to take my kintsugi lesson. Some pictures were taken in March, so people were still wearing jackets. The area is called Midōsuji, which is one of the busiest and most iconic spots in Osaka.
There are lots of buildings. Some are offices while the others are shops. On the street, you'll see young people, older people and tourists from all over the world walking around. It's a great place for people-watching!
Here is the center of Midōsuji.
There is a big department store called Daimaru, which is the main ones in its group. On both side of the street, you'll see lots of fancy brand shops like Hermès, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and more.
I think this area is similar to places like Milan, New York or Ginza in Tokyo. Since Osaka has many other unique places to explore, I'll share more about them sometime soon.

From my visits in Japan, I think Osaka, and Kansai area in general, is my favorite!
I was born and raised in the Kansai are, but I'd been away for a long time due to my husband's job. Now, we live in the area again. I love the area too. I believe that the Kansai people has their own hospitality!
ちょっとおしゃれですね。
おしゃれですが、ミラノ、銀座、ニューヨーク、どこも同じですねw
