Mökki oli tiettömien taipaleiden takana, sehän sen tarkoitus olikin. Luonnon rauhaa, hiljaisuutta ja omaa tilaa, paljon omaa tilaa. Siksi poliisien paikalle tulo tuntui kestävän ikuisuuden. Vaikka ei se todellisuudessa kovin kauaa kestänyt. Odottavien aika oli kuitenkin tuntunut loputtomalta. Mitään he eivät osanneet tehdä. Aurinko oli jo laskenut mailleen ja hämärä tiheni hetki hetkeltä. Tuli pimeä, hyttyset ja paarmat. Nyt itkivät ja rukoilivat jo kaikki, muodostivat voimapiirin käsi kädessä kaikki ja pyysivät apua ylhäältä. Eivät uskaltaneet katsoa toisiaan. Eivät ymmärtäneet mitä oli voinut tapahtua.
