Kauhu saa kehon tärisemään. Pelon terävät hampaat näykkivät, ja paniikin viitta jähmettää hänet keskelle ullakkokomeroa. Horror makes her body shiver. The sharp teeth of the fear nibble at her, and the sign of panic freezes her in the middle of the attic closet. The strangers have left, and since then, going up to the attic has felt endless. She hears the door of the chamber snap shut behind her, and the door is locked from the outside. First, she thinks that she's alone in the confinement booth, but she senses that there's also somebody in the chamber. She feels a bundle and recognizes its familiar outlines. And she knows that this is wearing a small spring dress. The bundle's breath is hardly heard, and she touches its almost lifeless skin. She screams, but nobody can hear; or wants to hear.
