I am not over my problems, but my father and I have recently started again to take long morning walks. The summer is the perfect time for long walks. The sun shines almost every day, but we go for a walk not only on sunny days but also on rainy days. Walking with my father and listening to his philosophical and scientific stories and jokes that he tells me makes our long morning walks even more enjoyable. We have recently been on a walk during the strong rain. It felt fantastic. In the morning there are always not so many people (I don't like crowded places), and the morning seems to be a perfect time for a walk for such introverted people as my father and I. I really liked going on a walk while it was raining. In such weather all the wonderful plants smell even stronger, which makes walks in nature even more refreshing. But today was a sunny day, and we took an 8-kilometer-long walk along the river. It felt really soothing. Taking a long walk in nature is my favorite way to calm down, to soak up the energy out of the early morning sun, and one of the best ways to combat stress.
