Hän oli jo useaan kertaan kuvitellut erilaisia tilanteita, kuinka hän saapuisi Sepon leiriin ja mitä he sanoisivat toisilleen. Kuvittelu oli helppoa, mutta todellisuus ei välttämättä tulisi olemaan samanlainen, eihän hän edes tiennyt minkälaiset olosuhteet tuolla leirillä vallitsisivat. Karua siellä olisi Sepon kirjeistä päätellen, karua ja alkeellista. Mutta se ei häiritsisi, päinvastoin.
