English Garden with My Parents

The day when my parents, my husband and I went to the English garden again was rain. We made up our mind to visit there, even though it was rain because we thought the rain might wash away all roses.

When we visited the garden last time, we were amazed by the beautiful wisteria. They were gone, but instead, we enjoyed roses, which were 300 different varieties and 3000 bushes.

Even though it was raining, we saw lots of people visiting there.

A beautiful rose-covered gate greeted us. My dad regretted that he didn't take his camera. He worried about his camera might get damaged by the rain. Since he didn't take any rose pictures, I think I should take him (including my mom) somewhere we can see roses in fall. I believe roses in spring is the best, but we still can enjoy them in fall as well.

We were overwhelmed by the breathtaking scenes. Everywhere was covered with the roses in full bloom. Not only the roses but also the other flowers were adding more charm to the scenery.

Do you remember the scene in the picture below? When we visited there last time, we all loved the wisteria bridge. If you are curious what it looked like, click here. Last time, we only saw a few waterlilies, but this time we found many.

The hydrangea had just started blooming!

I think rain makes flower colors more vivid, so it was still lovely to look around at roses in rain.

I especially liked the roses in the picture below so that they have green, pink, ivory and beige all in one flower.

We were a bit late and missed the time in full bloom. It must have been breathtaking. We definitely have to come back next year.

The contrast between the red and blue flowers was stunning.

My mom and I loved these roses in the picture below. Neither of us had seen the variety before.

There was also a little section selling rose seedlings.

The four of us got soaked in the rain and started to feel chilly. So, we went to a soba (Japanese noodle) restaurant to warm up. While eating, we enjoyed talking about roses. We also talked about our next plan where we should go! I'd love to take them a place where we can enjoy hydrangeas. Now, it's the season for them.
