Successful use of characters! Watch out for characters that have the same pinyin but different forms and meanings. I make those kinds of typos all the time!
Thank you! Do you have an opinion on the best way to write characters using a computer? I tried several ways (all difficult, but I know that will be the case regardless) and wanted to know if there's a standard way to go about it that I'm not aware of.
Everyone I know just uses the Microsoft IME. This is a little piece of software that you can easily download, and sits in your bottom right hand corner. When you click it (or press Shift), you can start typing in pinyin without the tones, then select the character you want from the list that pops up. On your phone you can do the same thing, but you also have the option of handwriting characters on the screen. This can be frustrating, because you will often forget characters. But that's exactly why you should practice them as often as you can!
Thank you for the recommendation and the help!
