If I had to choose a color to represent spring in Japan, I'd definitely choose color pink! That's because plum blossoms, cherry blossoms and renge flowers which bloom in spring are all pink.

Today, I'd love to introduce renge flowers to you. There are a few renge fields in my neighborhood, and I look forward to visiting them every year.

Each spring, the fields are covered by the pink flowers and look like a pink carpet spread. Compared to last year, unfortunately, the scenery this year wasn't so impressed. I guess they were affected by last year's climate. The summer last year was too hot and humid.

I love standing in the center of the field and closing my eyes. I enjoyed meditating myself for a while. It was quite a peaceful moment.

Bees are attracted by these flowers, and I saw lots of them flying over from flower to flower. These field will turn cosmos fields in fall, so I'm already looking forward to seeing cosmos flowers. Since the flower roots have a benefit, which make our pain soften, even though I don't feel any pain, for some reason, I felt much better while looking at them. It was as if I were receiving healing energy from the flowers.
