I have a small wisteria trellis in my yard, and my wisteria tree produced lots of buds for the first time this year. I was so excited when I found them. Ever since, I'd been really looking forward to seeing them bloom.
They started blooming last week and now they're in full bloom!!! So, I took some photos.
Since my wisteria tree is still only three years old and quite young, my trellis doesn't look impressive at all. Even so, I'm so happy!!! It feels like all my hard work has finally paid off!!
I noticed that the wisteria has a soft, delicate fragrance. The drooping flowers sway gently in the breeze while creating a tender rustling sound. It’s truly lovely.
It’s not just me who loves the wisteria, and carpenter bees do too. I spotted one buzzing from flower to flower, which seemed to be very busy collecting nectar. They are big and look scary, but they normally don't sting us. I couldn't help but wonder where they are flying from and how they find my wisteria.
My wisteria will grow even better next year, and I’d love to invite my family and friends for a tea party! It'll be fun!
