Hi everyone! I'm preparing for the C1 Cambridge exam and practicing writing. I would like you to assess this post, please. The exercise is to write an essay in 220-260 words:

"Your class has attended a panel discussion on what are the greatest advantages of digital and computer technology for people in their everyday lives. You have made the notes below:

Advantages of digital and computer technology in everyday life:

- communication

- access to information

- shopping and services

Write an essay for your tutor discussing two of the advantages in your notes. You should explain which advantage you think is the greatest for people in their everyday lives and provide reasons to support your opinion."

This is what I've written. I'd appreciate your feedback and corrections. Thank you :) (IT'S PURELY FICTIONAL).

Today’s society is experimenting the peak of the technological era. It’s fair saying that we are in the height of the growth of digital and computer technology, and therefore, we are taking advantage of it in our day-to-day life.

Nowadays, the access to almost endless information has become easier than ever before. For instance, in a matter of a few seconds we can search online anything we want just by using our mobile phone, wherever we are. Not only we are able to look up pure information itself but we can also learn a new language or learn how to cook a new recipe, just at the touch of a button.

Another very useful advantage that the Internet and digital devices have provided us with is the fact of being able to go online shopping whenever we want. There has never been such a time-saving way to buy goods and services in the entire human history.

Even though both, the quick access to information and the online shopping, are undeniable advantages of the current digital era, I believe that the first one outweighs the second. However, we have to be aware of the existence of fake news and we should always try to look up verified sources.

In conclusion, I think having access to the Internet for useful and reliable information makes our everyday life better, since it brings us a wide variety of opportunities to know more about our world.
