After writing my last post, which wasn't uplifting, a friend called and invited me over. I said yes to her invitation immediately and got on the Uber/ Snap 15 minutes later.
Her home is far away in the middle of the mountains of Tehran. It's colder than my place, but guess what? I'm sleeping on a bed under a window that opens to an old tree and I can see the stars blinking through the branches.
I can't wait to wake up to this beautiful view. It reminds me of the painter Maudi. She said, " A window. How I love a window. A bird whizzing by. Bumblebee. It's always different. The whole of life— the whole of life already framed right there."
(I'm going to use this quote in a video as well.)
