While practicing, I wondered why "the" is required for "in the late 2000s" but not for "in late 2009", so I asked AI, but its response was unclear to me. Should I just remember it that way? π€

You're always very welcome and you sound great! One thing I've noticed is that when you pronounce [r] and especially the ending -er, you teeter between actual [r] and [a]. You need to work on raising your tongue tip closer to the middle of the roof of your mouth and committing to a full [Κ]. I suggest you rewatch my video on this sound and then have a zoom with me to work on it one-on-one. Great work!
