It's getting colder in Japan, making it the perfect season for knitting. A few days ago, I started knitting a beret for myself.
I'm a big fan of the British yarn company ROWAN, so as usual, I picked up their yarn again. I bought this ball of yarn during a Black Friday sale.
I love knitting berets because hand-knitted ones are much warmer than machine-made ones and fit my head perfectly.
Since this was a very simple project, it only took me two days to finish.
The beret keeps me warm, and I'm excited to start wearing it.
I've already started a second beret for my mom. I'm knitting the same design but in a different color from ROWAN. This will be a Christmas gift for her, and I hope she'll like it.

Thank you so much, @Zobayda. Your comment motivates me up!!
The beret looks nice and cosy. I have a lined woolly hat for the cold winter nights when I'm waiting for the bus.
Good morning from Japan, @t4up3 ! Thank you for taking a look at my post. I've heard if we want to keep warm, making our heads warm is the key. Hats are very important! Stay warm!!
