I have a lemon tree that hadn't produced any fruit for over five years. This morning, I asked my husband to trim some branches I couldn't reach, and then he noticed something green on the lemon tree. When I looked where he was pointing, it was a lemon! I was thrilled to finally see it bearing fruit!!
This summer my lemon tree was affected by butterfly larvae, and I was worried if it would survive. Even though it produced a single lemon, I'm very happy. I'd love to use this special lemon to bake a cake.
I sincerely hope it'll bare a little bit more fruit next spring.

I see that the leaves of your lemon tree are quite affected by the butterfly larvae, Yumi ( @yumiyumayume ). I think that with organic products such as neem oil or potassium soap you could control the pest.
Thank you so much for the advice. I'll have to be wiser next year.
That's interesting. To me that looks more like a lime because it's so green :)
@Ersatzjello haha, I agree. I picked up the lemon while it's still green and let it ripen.
