One of my hobbies is baking., and today I'm pleased to share my homemade jam and scones.
I used frozen blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and bilberries from my garden to make some jam.
I added half as much amount as sugar of frozen fruit and cooked it for about thirty minutes.
Since the jam was ready, I moved on making some scones! I mixed some flour, baking powder and butter with my fingers until crumbly.
Then, I added some brown sugar and salt and mixed it in.
Then, I added some milk and yogurt to make a sticky, soft dough.
I turned it out onto a floured work surface and kneaded it very lightly before patting it into a round about 2cm thick.
I used a 5cm cutter to stamp out it rounds.
I placed them on the baking tray.
I brushed the tops of the scones with a mix milk and yogurt.
I baked them for 16 minutes at 200 ℃.
When I opened the oven, I was greeted by sweet, warm aroma. Truly it's the best part of baking!
I enjoyed tea time with my husband, savoring my homemade scones with fresh jam and a dollop of clotted cream. Yum!

Yummy! I love baking as well! Can you write the portions of each ingredients, please? Also, you said you added half the sugar to the frozen berries and cooked them, does it mean there was another half? When did you add it?
Wow, my mouth is watering, Yumi
Hi, @Double-Zee I've added the ingredients. Please take a look. For the jam, use half as much sugar as frozen berries. You can add it right from the start. Since the berries were sour, I used half the amount, but feel free to adjust to your taste. Thank you!
@druida I wish you lived closer to me! Then I could invite you over!
Ah, so if the berries are 500 g, we add 250 sugar! Thank you so much for adding the ingredients! :)
@Double-Zee Exactly! You are welcome!!
