My girlfriend Diane is one of the coolest people I've ever met. She's witty, proactive, and one of my favorite traits about her is how she can 'hack the system.' The way she approaches things is something I've never seen before. She always finds little doors to get through. In this story, you'll see some examples.
Last weekend, we went to Florence, and the whole adventure started at the airport. There was a small tag inside her T-shirt, and she went to a nearby information counter. Instead of asking for information, she asked for scissors—and they had some! Who would have thought? As she said: "If you want scissors you ask"
When we were in Florence, there was a restaurant with a sign that clearly stated they were full. But Diane just went there and asked them if they had a free table—and they did! As she stated: "You never know, you can always try"
As we were about to head back home, she realized she didn’t have enough baggage allowance on the plane to take all her stuff back. So, she went into the duty-free store and asked for a duty-free bag, because airlines don't count duty-free bags as part of your luggage allowance. And she got a lot of stuff back home for 'free.'
Crazy, right?
So guys, don’t forget: if you want something, ask! Be like Diane!
What other ways do you know to hack the system?
P.S: I used the David statue for the cover because he's also hacked "the system"... and also it's located in Florence :D

Good for Diane! I’m the same way. I really enjoyed this post, but the way.
@CocoPop Thank you! I guess it's an American Mentality :D
