Draft: Me fui para la fin de semana para una vacacione con mis hermanos en Nueva York. Asi que no escribí mi entrada diario. He volviendo para mantener mi aprendizaje.

DeepL: Me fui el fin de semana de vacaciones con mis hermanos a Nueva York. Así que no escribí mi entrada diaria. He vuelto para seguir aprendiendo.

English: I went away for the weekend for a vacation with my siblings in New York. So, I did not write my daily entry. I have returned to keep up my learning.

Questions and Reflections El fin de semana de vacaciones: I used “para” (didn’t sound right to me though) and DeepL gave me “de”

Vacaciones: I’m assuming always ends in “s” I dropped it thinking I was using a singular for vacation.

He vuelto: I could not remember past participle form so I just put in present participle knowing it was incorrect.

Para seguir: I wrote “para mantener” I wanted to communicate “to keep up.” I thought this would be correct. Is “para seguir” just an alternative?

Aprendizaje vs. aprendiendo: Also interchangeable?
