Volunteer means someone acts something effective work or kind thing for society in Japan.
My friend who runs a volunteer association says there are the people who make limitation the volunteer and they say it is unnecessary to consider others that much because they don't get money.
He says if he is running own company they would work over his expectations when he adds more salary or a high post for them.
However, he runs a volunteer association so he has to follow their minds.
I wonder the people who make limitation for volunteer activity, how to consist relationship with people in daily life, because their behavior say they don't act good thing if they can't get any return from their kind.

Even if you make the changes other people have suggested, I don't think it would flow very well. I'm not a fantastic writer but here is how I would write it:
A volunteer is someone who, without being paid, does some type of activity that will benefit society.
My friend who runs a volunteer association says that the amount of volunteer work they can do is limited by how willing the volunteers are to work. Some of them don't want to do very much volunteer work since they don't earn any money from it.
He says that if he was running a company, his employees would work harder if he gave them a raise or a promotion.
However, since he runs a volunteer association, he has to be accommodating of his volunteers and accept whatever amount of time they are willing to volunteer.
I wonder how the people who severely limit their volunteer activity maintain relationships with people in daily life. Their actions seem to show that they won't help others unless they can get something in return.
