A War

by

love

Where do you stand on a war against love?

But if this is the case and you are, could you?

Love allows us to disagree with it but never against it. Because even if we wanted to, what can we do?

When love tells us to sit, it doesn't tell us how, or where, or when, or why. We spin around for days, weeks, months, and years carrying a nagging thought to do it.

Sit, sit, sit.

We carry the thought along all the things we do.

We eat *sit , sit, sit*

We drink *sit , sit, sit*

We laugh *sit , sit, sit*

We run *sit , sit, sit*

We cry *sit , sit, sit*

We get angry *sit , sit, sit*

We work *sit , sit, sit*

We kiss *sit , sit, sit*

We lie *sit , sit, sit*

We sing *sit , sit, sit*

We dance *sit , sit, sit*

We speak *sit , sit, sit*

In my head, I can't sit. I have many things to do. I have to clean, I have to take care of myself, I have dreams to chase, I have people to protect, I have to people I have to find, a place I should go where I can feel I belong, I have to survive somehow, I have to work to get money, I have to read and write, I have to feel whatever I can to stay alive. *Sit, sit, sit*

Thoughts won't stop running until we do something about it.

Say yes and do it, accept whatever it brings.

Say no and not do it, accept all that we miss.

There is no middle road with love.

It is always a yes or a no.

An all or nothing.

Life or death.

Where do you stand on a war against love? Will you?

Lovers, they carry it as they live until they die.

*sit, sit, sit*

Such thoughts, useless to resist with a war against it.

In the end, we sit.

No matter how long it takes.
