I don't know if you guys know Doctor Mike from YouTube. He's a doctor who talks about different medical subjects.
He's originally from Russia but migrated to the States with his family when he was a child.
He's mentioned multiple times that he doesn't have an accent, but his sister who was 14 when they moved to the US, has one.
Even though she's lived most of her life in the States, she still has an accent.

Diane's parents moved to the States when they were teenagers (14-16), and they also have accents, so Dr. Mike's experience matches mine.
