Hi everyone! I'm preparing for the C1 Cambridge exam, so I'm practicing writing. I would like you to assess this post, please. The exercise is to write a review in 220-260 words;

"You see the announcement below on a website:

HOTELS NEAR ME

We'd like to know what local people think of different hotels in their area, so we're opening a section written by local people to help visitors to choose the hotel which suits them best.

Send us a review which recommends two hotels in your area for two different types of visitor and says what sort of visitor each hotel would suit and why."

TWO HOTELS IN MADRID

Madrid is a city well-known as one of the most visited places in Europe. In fact, hotels are among the most notoriuos buildings in the city. But do tourists need others’ opinions and reviews in order to choose hotels? Of course yes. A good choice of where you’re going to stay can make your trip totally different. 

Two types of visitors frequently come to Madrid; those who are more likely to organize a “cultural trip” and the ones who prefer a more adventurous experience. The first ones, are people eager to spending their days visiting every museum and are fairly interested in the history of the city. The second group often want to enjoy activities such as hicking in the mountain or skiing in our local indoor snowpark.

If you preferences when visiting Madrid are more towards having a relaxed time or you are passionate about history and new cultures, I’d recommend you to reserve a room in a hotel located in the city centre with good views of the city.

On the other hand, for those who prefer spend most of the time outside, I would choose my accomodation paying special attention to the price and the activities that they offer.

In summary, I personally believe that the best option for those who want to know deeply our city is the one called “Palace Hotel”, which is also the one with the best traditional cuisine. However, if that is not your main motivation, I’d choose “The Intercontinental”, which offers very good value for money.
